sooo.. its Homecoming at Oklahoma State.. One of the BEST Homecoming celebrations in the Nation.. it was actually my 1st experience.. but dang.. it was a blast.. :) The game obviously was amazing.. 7-0.... ranked #6 who would have thought?.. its all because I transferred here im sure.. ;) lol Either way.. its amazing for OSU to be that high up!! WOO HOO!! GO POKES!! now the real challenges are beginning.. Texas is this weekend.. so we'll see what happens. Especially since they're sitting at #1 right now. (Since they beat OU) ;) It was a fun weekend. I went to the Walk-Around with one of my bestest friends Cory Johnson and our good friend Alan Krone.. can you say a blast?.. we took some random pictures.. (Cory was a little ridiculous.. lol) The next day I went to the game with Natalie, Jacob, David, Rae, Mitchell & Carlin.. Brian found us somehow while we were there.. we didnt even know he had a ticket!! It was kind of a blow-out game.. but a Win is a Win right? ha ha... I love football.. I kind of miss my Athletic Training major.. but I know I made the right decision.. after the game I hung out with just random groups of people at different times then came home and chilled with the ole roomie for a bit.. and gave her a hard time that she didnt start preparing her lesson sooner.. :) I think I had a pretty good weekend.. DANG!! I almost forgot the best part! Friday I went on a little afternoon date with my good friend Spencer from OKC.. we went and had lunch at Applebees then went to Boomer Lake and just fed some ducks/geese and hung out.. it was a blast! Okay.. I think Im finally caught up on pictures and things.. dang.. only took me ALL afternoon.. :) now just to plane catch you up!!! I've started playing intramural soccer.. its actually a blast.. and to think the doctors always told me I couldnt play.. its actually the one sport Im not half bad at.. :) and I love it... I've recently switched my major to Political Science with a Pre-law emphesis and a minor in Business Economics.. :) pretty big switch from Athletic Training.. :) but I know that it was the right decision. Even though sometimes it kills me to just sit in the stands at football games.. its all right though.. :) A few weeks ago I went with David Ayres back to Pryor to watch his younger brother Chris in the Mr. Pryor talent show thing (CHRIS WON!!) those videos will have to come later though.. :) well.. there's not a whole lot more to say.. I'll try and get better at this thing.. maybe someday! :)

Okay... for about 3 weeks in a row it was hey!!! lets have a birthday EVERY weekend.. lol... Mine(20) was first.. then Autumn Wood(19).. then Cory Johnson(23)ya.. Cory's old.. its all good.. :) For the 2nd time in my life I received roses.. a dozen gorgeous pink roses from my good friend Jesse Holyoak.. :) I was pretty shocked about that.. we just hung out that night.. played some rockband.. chilled.. :) I loved it.. probably one of the best birthdays I've had in a while.. then... Stephen Gray got the idea.. hey.. we should shove cake in her face.. and.. Mitchell and I actually got into a cake fight.. AHHH!!!! it was ridiculous.. I had to go and change my shirt.. it was a blast though.. I wouldnt change any of that night.. except maybe Stephen should have started out cooking the hamburgers.. :) aaaannddd.. the chalking of my car.. Mini-tron activate?... what?.. lol.. actually that makes a lot of sense to me.. but if you dont know what the name means I suggest you dont try and figure it out.. lol..

Now we're into September.. finally!!! ha ha.. Labor Day weekend.. Cowboy football.. missionary transfers and the temple. :) On Labor Day weekend. Mitchell, Candace Midgett, (my roomie) Jared Bavender and I all went and shot some rounds out at CREC.. where Candace works.. needless to say it was my first time ever shooting a gun.. i dont think Candace and Mitchell will ever want to go with me again.. :( It was a blast.. but pretty scary.. thats a lot of power for one little hand.. :) Here's some pictures of Jared and Mitchell.. no one took one of me?.. maybe next time? All right.. I may hate my car.. but it always seems to be rescueing (sp) people!!!! after a football game I was back at my friend Lauras and not 5 minutes after I walk in the door I get a phone call from Mitchell asking if I had jumper cables in the back of my car... and I did.. :) He hates Pontiacs more than I do.. so its ironic I think... but notice.. CARLIN is doing all the work.. they started out using my car.. which I didnt understand since there was a hummer parked in the very next parking spot.. Mitchell finally realized that and they used Davids car.. it just took them a while.. :) Did I mention it was raining that day?...

and now to missionary transfers.. :( I was pretty torn up this time.. Sister M. Flake and I became really good friends while she was here.. I havent cried when a missionary left in a really long time.. With her I was pretty upset about it.. and really sad to see her go.. I still write her.. she was only transferred to Woodward.. which is way in the middle of nowhere.. but it is totally her element.. :)

Now, on to my favorite place in the entire world.. The Temple.. :) Its truly an amazing place.. Im stoked because we have another temple trip coming up next week... I never realized how truly gorgeous the OKC temple is until I took the time to really look at it.. Its nothing fancy.. very simple.. but I think thats what makes it so absolutely amazing.. :) I couldnt have asked for a better birthday present.. next time.. lets NOT make me sit on a saddle at Texas Roadhouse.. :) Thanks Cory, David, Dannah and Mitchell!!!!!

well well.. now its the day before school starts up... its roughly 1:15 in the am and Im headed home to prepare for my first day at a "real" college.. Im just driving along then out of nowhere.. WHAM... I hit a dog.. head on at 72 mph.. :( needless to say the poor dog didnt survive.. and I couldnt find him.. plus Im a girl in the middle of the night.. I wasnt going to look all over everywhere and back in the middle of the night.. Im still afraid of the dark.. :( but... the dog also cause over 3 grand worth of damage to my poor car.. my advice.. DONT buy Pontiacs... and to think I used to love my car.. not so much anymore.. :(

What happens in Pryor, stays in Pryor! :)

After getting back from Utah the following weekend David Ayres, Mitchell Walser, Raven Shear, RaeAnna Devey and myself made the 2 hour drive to David's hometown, Pryor, Oklahoma... To chillax on the lake and just have a grand ole time!!! Pryor is always a blast in my opinion.. especially when going out on the lake.. lol.. unless... David decides to drive INSANELY fast with me and Rae on the tube... this is what comes of it.. (Im the girl on the left)

Soundtrack for my summer

well.. for those of you that know.. I went to Utah for the first time the first week of August.. and had an absolute blast! I spent the first part of the week in West Jordan with Brandon Armstrong. He was one of the missionaries that taught my family the new member discussions.. I think he was a little freaked out to realize that Im a 20 year old Sophomore in college.. instead of an 11 year old girl.. Where does the time go?! But it was a blast. Especially since I was able to see the Salt Lake temple, Jordan River temple (I almost fell in the fountain) and the Provo temple. I saw the Provo temple when I stayed the 2nd half of the week with Crystal Foy. And man.. I fell in love with Provo and Orem! No doubt about that! I cant wait to be able to go back! Some of my friends and I are planning a trip for Spring Break to do some more "temple hopping" I'll keep you update on that! This being my first trip to Utah it was also my first time to ever fly in a plane.. Mitchell Walser and I left his house at around 4:15.. and made our way into OKC... :) my flight left at 7.. that was a bit of a killer. but it was totally worth it to see the sun rise over some mountains when my plane landed in Denver.. :) Spring Break couldnt come fast enough now!! Utah was the perfect vacation to have before starting my first Semester at Oklahoma State University. :)
