June 2008

Well, June was a pretty crazy month.. I started my 3rd and final Semester at Oklahoma State University because i decided to transfer to Oklahoma State this fall! YAY GO POKES!!! :) ha ha.. it was a darn good decision if i do say so myself!!! I even started dating someone new.. Mitchell Walser... He's been such an amazing blessing in my life these last few weeks! He's a 22 year old RM, very strong in the church.. and good looking.. what more could a girl ask for!?! ha ha.. plus he taught me how to drive a standard.. ha ha.. I also pretty much cut off all my hair as you can tell in the pictures... but it looks WAY cute.. :) We also had our annual Singles Ward float trip this month.. it was loads of fun!! The entire weekend people kept asking me and my good friend Candace Midgett if we were sisters.. PRICELESS!!! ha ha.. Candace and I probably broke a rule seeing as we slept on the guys side of the campsite.. BUT we were in the bed of her truck on an air mattress.. so i dont think that really counts.. Mitchell got in a fight with a tree on the river and lost. his face and shoulder got beat up pretty good.. :( its much better now though!!!

For those of you that dont know.. Seth nicknamed me Mini-Tron from Transformers because Im the shortest person out of our little group of friends.. the name caught on pretty quickly and this is him doing the voice of Mini-Tron.. ha ha

This past weekend Mitchell David and I went to Meg Carvers wedding reception in OKC. I actually didnt meet her until that day! She seems like a nice girl though and she looked gorgeous! It was a pretty amazing day for me because I got to see the temple for the first time since I was 16 years old.. thats a pretty long time.. ha ha.. It was truly a gorgeous site.. I loved it. And it made my drive to be married in the temple only stronger!!! i cant wait for the next time i get to see a temple. Which will probably be in August when I visit some friends in Utah!!! I cant wait! Tomorrow Mitch, David and I are going to head to Pryor to spend the 4th of July weekend with David's family!! Its going to be a blast! literally.. fireworks.. ha ha... plus, a road trip with two of my best friends.. what more could I ask for?! many pictures will be taken I promise!!! :)
